Vinyl windows mean style choices, low maintenance

Vinyl windows combine energy efficiency and durability in a product that is almost maintenance-free. They are typically made of highly-durable polyvinyl chloride, or PVC, which does not split, warp, crack or peel. Their popularity has encouraged well-known manufacturers, including Pella and Jeld-Wen, to make them in a variety of sought-after styles such as single-hung, double-hung, awning, sliders and more. Reasonably-priced and easily customized, they are also available in just about any size.
While these windows are not usually painted to match your home, they do come in many colors, and due to the nature of the material do not need to be touched up or refinished. Many manufacturers have also added UV stabilizers to the PVC to further reduce fading and sun damage, so your windows can look just like new for many years to come.
