Hottest carpet trend is inspired by nature

Modular carpet from FLOR is one of the hottest trends in flooring. Three things make modular carpet exceptionally appealing:
- It's eco-friendly: you only need to replace tiles that wear out rather than an entire room.
- Endless design possibilities: you can mix and match designs, colors and patterns.
- It's the easiest DIY project you can imagine: simply peel and stick the patented FLORdots, no padding needed.
FLOR is truly one of my favorite home improvement products. Health, nature, and beauty are at the core of the company's values, so you can feel safe letting your infants, toddlers and pets crawl around on the floor. The company is constantly searching for examples in nature to help them design more beautiful, more durable, and healthier products.
They make design fun and installation almost brainless. FLOR is made to "hug" the floor and eliminates the need for messy, toxic glue. The carpet tiles come complete with non-toxic FLORdots that are designed to stick to the underside of each tile and not to the floor beneath. The tiles stay put until your ready to replace them. No slipping or sliding. Check out this video to see how easy it is: https://youtu.be/XKA0xjyX1RQ. You can easily install a wall-to-wall carpet in a room in an afternoon. Creating your own area rug can be done in about an hour.
FLOR has a helpful online design tool to help you play around with colors and patterns before you commit. They also offer design assistance from their professional designers to help you create your own unique designs. You're guaranteed to have a carpet that you won't find in anyone else's home. Like in nature, every design is individual.
Keeping modular carpet clean is exponentially easier than conventional carpet. If you spill coffee, wine, or cat pee on your carpet (not sure why you'd be drinking cat pee, but that's another story), you can simply pull up only the dirty tiles, clean them by hand, and let them dry. Simply replace that tile and it's as good as new. More importantly, if a section does get damaged beyond cleaning or repair, you can simply pull up the ruined tiles and replace them with brand new ones. You'll always have carpet that looks like new.
Most FLOR tiles are made from 100% recycled material. Even better, FLOR also has a special backing that makes the tiles easy to recycle . . . again. At the end of their lifecycle you can send the tiles back to the company. The backing can then be removed and the tiles can be made into new carpet.

I'd be remiss if I didn't share some info about the company's visionary founder Ray Anderson. He's one of my heroes and he's the force behind one of the world's greenest companies.
