It's easy to understand being sleepless in Seattle, the birthplace of Starbucks and the coffee capital of the country. Drizzly days might contribute to the caffeine habit, but not rainfall. Seattle does not even qualify in the top ten for rainiest. Green -- not gray, more aptly describes the "Emerald City" with its lush green forests, and its reputation for green industry and sustainable development -- unless you're referring to brain matter. Seattle is both literate and well-educated enough to be touted as having a "knowledge economy."
